We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling through films. The ideal candidate should have experience editing wedding films and a strong sense of rhythm, emotion, and visual flow.
Responsibilities
- Edit wedding films including highlights, teasers, reels, and full-length videos
- Sync footage with music to create emotionally engaging narratives
- Perform color correction and basic color grading
- Add sound effects, background scores, and clean audio where required
- Maintain brand style and storytelling quality of House of Storytellers
- Organize and manage footage and project files efficiently
- Meet deadlines and collaborate with photographers, cinematographers, and the creative team
- Make revisions based on feedback from clients or internal team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in wedding films
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic knowledge of After Effects (titles, transitions) is a plus
- Strong sense of music, pacing, and storytelling
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Experience with cinematic wedding edits
- Understanding of social media formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube, etc.)
- Knowledge of LUTs and advanced color grading
- Motion graphics skills
