Senior Executive
Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations including Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger maintenance for both Canadian and U.S. entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and reporting deadlines.
1.Bank Reconciliations
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts across Canadian and U.S. banks.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
Ensure timely posting of transactions and accurate cash flow reporting.
2. Accounts Payable (A/P)
Process vendor invoices and expense reports in client software in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) established with the clients or the entity.
Follow approval matrix for Non-PO invoices.
Coordinate with clients to resolve pending AP issues related to Purchase Orders.
Verify code for general ledger and dimensions coding of purchase invoices before accounting.
Perform vendor reconciliations including resolving discrepancies with the vendor statements.
Manage payment processing and ensure timely disbursements as per predetermined payment run schedules.
Prepare and execute payments via EFT, wire transfers, and cheques.
Monitor and respond to client emails within a 24-hour turnaround time.
Bank and Credit card reconciliations
Provide necessary reports for Month end financials
Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries via email, telephone or through M365 Teams software.
3.Accounts Receivable (A/R)
Generate and issue customer invoices.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Apply payments accurately and reconcile customer accounts.
Assist in collections and resolving billing disputes.
4.General Ledger (G/L)
Record journal entries and maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare month-end Management packs including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement by agreed timeline
Support financial reporting and audit preparation.
Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. accounting standards.
5.Process Improvement & Reporting:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by clients.
Manage documentation and ensure proper record-keeping.
Troubleshooting in any of the above processes
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to work as one team
Any other change of client/ role as identified and discussed by the supervisor and HR
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
