About the Role-
Creative and versatile Illustrator with 3+ years of experience specializing in sketching, character design, digital illustration, and visual storytelling. Skilled at developing unique characters, expressive illustrations, and creative concepts for books, branding, children’s content, and digital media. Experienced in using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and other AI-assisted creative platforms to improve ideation, research, concept development, and overall design efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Create original sketches, illustrations, and character concepts based on creative briefs.
- Develop memorable and expressive characters, poses, emotions, costumes, and visual styles.
- Create illustrations for children’s books, storybooks, educational content, branding, and digital platforms.
- Transform rough ideas and concepts into polished illustrations and production-ready artwork.
- Develop character variations, expressions, poses, and supporting visual elements.
- Use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, and other creative software for digital artwork.
- Use Gemini, ChatGPT, AI image-generation tools, and AI-assisted workflows for brainstorming, references, concept exploration, and improving creative efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Practical experience using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or similar tools.
- 3+ years of professional experience in illustration, character design, or a related creative field.
- Strong skills in sketching, character design, digital illustration, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating illustrations for children’s books, educational content, publishing, or digital media is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of Procreate and InDesign is an advantage.
- Strong portfolio showcasing sketches, character designs, illustrations, and finished artwork.
