Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and controlling company costs, preparing cost reports, budgeting, inventory valuation, and supporting financial planning activities. This role will work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to improve profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost sheets, product costing, and profitability analysis.
- Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Conduct variance analysis for production and operational expenses.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Maintain inventory valuation and reconciliation records.
- Prepare MIS reports related to costing and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and cost accounting practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.
- Experience in inventory valuation and reconciliation.
- Budgeting and financial analysis skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle ERP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- CMA / CMA Inter / Cost Accountant.
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
