Job Summary
An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer with air conditioning experience is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising MEP systems in construction projects. The role includes ensuring that all MEP works are completed according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. Need experience in MEP & air conditioning for 1 to 2 yrs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for projects.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Prepare BOQ, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local codes.
- Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals.
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper maintenance of MEP systems.
- Prepare project reports and documentation.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
- Understanding of building codes and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in MEP projects.
- Knowledge of construction and building services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial/residential/high-rise projects.
- Familiarity with BIM and project management software.
- Strong site coordination experience.
