Job Description: Associate Team Lead / Team Lead
Key Focus Areas (Mandatory):
- ERP Tool: SAP experience is mandatory.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong accounting expertise in RTR sub-areas, including Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Month-End Close, Reporting, Banking, and Lease Accounting.
- Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum of 30 days notice period only.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills.
Main Accountabilities:
- Perform month-end close activities and monthly revenue de-recognition processes within defined timelines.
- Manage lease accounting and month-end subledger (Nakisa) reconciliation with the General Ledger.
- Post manual Journal Entries (JEs) upon local country team approval, and analyze/post monthly expense accruals/amortization JEs.
- Run currency revaluation, update exchange rates, and manage Cost & PCA allocations (including under/over recovery analysis).
- Maintain the end-to-end Fixed Asset (FA) register, including CIP tracking, additions, transfers, disposals, and month-end footnote reporting.
- Reconcile Bank and Balance Sheet accounts in compliance with policy timelines.
- Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Prepare journal entries for readily marketable inventory (Mark to Market), quarterly RMI footnotes, and SEC-required monthly/quarterly financial footnotes/schedules.
- Submit quarterly fair value and SFAS forms (BS, PL, and volume reporting).
- Maintain and update process documentation regularly.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to resolve queries.
- Prepare and submit local statistical reporting (National Bank, property taxes, inventory reports) for compliance.
- Manage RTR KPI targets according to defined SLAs and oversee governance calls to address open items.
Knowledge, Skills, and Behavior:
- Data-driven decision-maker with a strong customer focus and alignment with global business strategies.
- Collaborative communicator who takes initiative and manages work effectively through periods of change.
- Proven experience handling high transaction volumes alongside associated controls and procedures.
- Proficiency in Onestream ERP, workflow tools, and document imaging systems.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with automation tools like Power BI, Power Automate, or VBA Macros is an advantage.
Education & Experience:
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA)(Mandatory)
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role; experience in the Agribusiness or Commodity Trading industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts related to General Ledger, Mark to Market, Options, Futures, Intercompany, and Fixed Assets.
- Proven ability to manage independent delivery, lead people through change, and act as a strong team player.
- Flexibility to work across different time zones. Knowledge of European languages is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
