About the Role
We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Instagram Reel Editor to join our content team. Your primary responsibility will be creating high-retention, scroll-stopping Instagram Reels using engaging storytelling, motion graphics, and creative effects. You will also assist with editing YouTube content when required.
Responsibilities
- Edit engaging Instagram Reels with strong hooks, storytelling, and high audience retention.
- Create visually compelling edits using transitions, motion graphics, captions, sound design, and creative effects.
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos for Instagram.
- Support YouTube content editing (long-form and shorts) when required.
- Collaborate with the content team to maintain brand consistency and achieve content goals.
- Stay updated with the latest Instagram and YouTube editing trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing Instagram Reels and short-form social media content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and GeoLayers.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, colour grading, sound design, and audience retention.
- Ability to create viral, engaging, and trend-driven edits.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Access to a capable workstation and a reliable internet connection.
