Job Summary
The Injection Moulding Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic components according to production schedules and quality standards. The operator ensures smooth machine operation, performs routine inspections, and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate injection moulding machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Load raw materials into hoppers and ensure continuous material supply.
- Start, stop, and monitor machine operations.
- Inspect moulded parts for defects such as flash, short shots, burn marks, sink marks, and warpage.
- Pack finished products according to customer specifications.
- Record production data, machine downtime, and rejection quantities.
- Maintain housekeeping around the machine and work area (5S).
- Follow safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report machine malfunctions, quality issues, or material shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in mould changes and machine setup when required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic Technology, or related field.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
