Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to install, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage CCTV surveillance systems across multiple branch locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted CCTV operations, monitoring surveillance footage, managing user access, resolving technical issues, and supporting new branch CCTV deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the health and functionality of CCTV cameras across all branch locations.
- Identify and troubleshoot camera, DVR/NVR, network, and storage-related issues.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance to ensure minimum system downtime.
- Monitor CCTV recordings and live feeds for operational compliance and security purposes.
- Report suspicious, unauthorized, or non-compliant activities to management.
- Maintain CCTV storage systems and monitor hard disk health.
- Manage CCTV user access and ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
- Configure remote viewing and live streaming access for authorized users.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of CCTV systems for new branches.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and access permissions.
- Coordinate with vendors, branch teams, and management for issue resolution.
- Assist during internal audits and compliance reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Networking, Computer Hardware, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of IP Cameras, DVRs, NVRs, networking, and surveillance systems.
- Understanding of CCTV access control and data security practices.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches, internet connectivity).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Ability to travel to branch locations when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-location CCTV monitoring.
- Knowledge of remote surveillance systems and cloud-based CCTV solutions.
- Familiarity with security operations and incident reporting.
- Experience in access control and biometric systems is an added advantage.
