Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to design, review, and optimize civil and structural works for utility-scale ground-mounted solar power projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of structural analysis, foundation design, and Indian design codes, with hands-on experience in solar EPC projects preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design civil and structural components for ground-mounted solar power plants.
- Prepare structural calculations for module mounting structures (MMS), foundations, equipment foundations, and other civil works.
- Develop and review GA drawings, RCC drawings, steel structure drawings, and construction details.
- Perform foundation design based on geotechnical investigation reports.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and project execution teams to ensure integrated project design.
- Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
- Optimize designs to achieve cost-effective and safe structural solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes, NBC, and relevant international standards where applicable.
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve site-related structural issues.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and client meetings as required.
Required Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5–7 years of experience in civil and structural design.
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of RCC and structural steel design.
- Ability to optimize structural designs for cost and constructability.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and structural design software.
- Familiarity with geotechnical reports and foundation engineering.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel to different site location
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
