Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Onsite Engineer / Resident Engineer with experience in the Audio Visual (AV) industry to provide day-to-day technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational assistance for AV systems installed at client locations. The engineer will act as the primary technical point of contact for all AV-related service activities and ensure smooth functioning of conference rooms, boardrooms, VC systems, digital signage, and integrated AV infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
AV System Support & Maintenance
- Provide onsite technical support for AV and Video Conferencing systems.
- Monitor and maintain AV equipment including:
- Projectors
- LED/LCD displays
- Video walls
- Audio DSP systems
- Wireless presentation systems
- Microphones & speakers
- PTZ cameras
- Control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and health checks of AV systems.
- Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware replacement and warranty support.
Troubleshooting & Incident Management
- Diagnose and resolve AV hardware/software issues.
- Support meeting room operations and executive boardroom events.
- Troubleshoot VC platforms such as:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Zoom Rooms
- Cisco Webex
- Google Meet
- Handle service tickets within SLA timelines.
- Escalate critical issues to higher technical teams when required.
Client & User Support
- Provide immediate support during meetings, presentations, and events.
- Assist end users with AV equipment usage.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional communication and service delivery.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily service reports and incident logs.
- Update asset inventory and maintenance records.
- Prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports for recurring issues.
- Share weekly/monthly performance reports with management.
System Operations
- Monitor uptime and functionality of AV systems.
- Coordinate with IT/network teams for integrated AV solutions.
- Ensure backup systems and redundancy are functioning properly.

- Knowledge of AV systems integration and troubleshooting.

- QSC
- Poly
- Cisco VC solutions
- Understanding of:
- Audio signal flow
- HDMI/HDBaseT
- Networking basics
- AV over IP
- DSP configuration
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA management.
Soft Skills
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently at client locations.
