Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Academic Counselor cum Telecaller to manage student inquiries, provide course guidance, and support the admissions process. This role involves handling leads, counseling prospective students, and ensuring smooth front office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Counseling & Admissions
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility, and career opportunities
- Guide students through the admission process, including documentation
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into successful admissions
2. Telecalling & Lead Management
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Maintain and update lead data in CRM or tracking systems
3. Admission Conversion & Follow-up
- Regularly follow up with prospective students to ensure conversion
- Address queries, objections, and concerns effectively
- Achieve assigned admission targets and contribute to team goals
4. Administrative & Reporting Support
- Maintain accurate records of leads, admissions, and follow-ups
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on call activity and conversions
- Assist with coordination related to admissions and student onboarding
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counseling, telecalling, or front office roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace
- Fluency in English and Malayalam
