Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong knowledge of GST compliance and return filing. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate and timely GST filings for the company and its clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
- Handle GST reconciliation and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records
- Manage invoices, billing, and input tax credit tracking
- Assist in TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for financial data
- Stay updated with changes in GST laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting and GST filing
- Strong knowledge of GST portal and compliance procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Busy, or similar)
- Good understanding of taxation and financial regulations
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a CA firm or consulting company
- Knowledge of income tax filing and ROC compliance
- Familiarity with handling multiple client accounts
