We are looking for a highly responsible and hands-on Factory Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at our home textile manufacturing unit (bed linen focus). This role requires complete ownership of production, workforce management, inventory flow, and timely execution of orders.
The candidate should be capable of independently running the factory in the absence of the owner.
Key Responsibilities1. Production & Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end production (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing)
- Ensure daily production targets and deadlines are met
- Monitor quality standards across all stages
- Optimize workflow to reduce delays and wastage
2. Worker & Floor Management
- Supervise tailors, helpers, and line staff
- Assign daily tasks and manage shift productivity
- Handle attendance, discipline, and conflict resolution
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments
3. Inventory & Supply Coordination
- Track raw material (fabric, thread, accessories) usage and stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement
- Prevent stock-outs and overstocking
- Maintain basic inventory records
4. Order & Dispatch Management
- Ensure orders are completed as per specifications and timelines
- Coordinate packaging and dispatch
- Cross-check finished goods before delivery
5. Financial & Vendor Coordination
- Assist in handling payments (labour, vendors, small expenses)
- Maintain basic expense tracking
- Coordinate with vendors for materials and services
6. Factory Responsibility (In Owner’s Absence)
- Take full charge of factory operations
- Ensure all deadlines, deliveries, and commitments are met
- Handle urgent decision-making on-ground
- Act as the primary point of contact
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5+ years experience in textile / garment / home furnishing factory
- Strong understanding of bed linen production (bedsheets, pillow covers, etc.)
- Good leadership and people management skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory handling and vendor coordination
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Trustworthy, accountable, and proactive
Preferred Qualities (High Priority)
- Experience in small-to-mid scale factory setup
- Problem-solving mindset (not instruction-dependent)
- Ability to manage both labour and vendors firmly but fairly
- Basic bookkeeping or expense tracking understanding

Compensation
- Based on experience and capability
