Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated B.Tech Electronics Engineer to join our FMCG manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and automation systems to ensure uninterrupted production and optimum machine performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machines and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults in manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain and calibrate sensors, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and control panels.
- Monitor machine performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new production equipment.
- Ensure smooth operation of electrical distribution systems and plant utilities.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
- Maintain maintenance logs, calibration records, and equipment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, GMP, and company policies.
- Participate in TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or a related field.
- Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with industrial training are welcome.)
- Experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, etc.)
- Understanding of HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial automation
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, instrumentation, and control systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Electrical panel troubleshooting and maintenance
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving skills
- Preventive and predictive maintenance planning
- Basic knowledge of calibration and instrumentation
- Proficiency in MS Excel and maintenance documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
