Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate Video Editor who understands storytelling, social media trends, product presentation, and brand aesthetics. The ideal candidate should be able to convert raw footage into visually strong, scroll-stopping videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, product launches, website creatives, and brand campaigns.
You will play an important role in shaping how customers experience Mesmerize visually, whether through product reels, lifestyle edits, UGC videos, launch teasers, ads, behind-the-scenes content, or premium brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
● Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality videos for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, website, ads, and other digital platforms.
● Create premium product-focused edits for jewellery, natural stone bracelets, rings, cuffs, necklaces, and spiritual accessories.
● Add smooth transitions, effects, text animations, motion elements, and visual enhancements where required.
● Maintain consistency with Mesmerize’s brand tone, visual style, pacing, and premium aesthetic.
● Work on different video formats including reels, UGC ads, cinematic product videos, launch teasers, testimonials, lifestyle edits, and campaign videos.
Content Creation & Optimization
● Create short-form and long-form video content for social media, paid ads, website banners, and product launches.
● Understand platform-specific formats and optimize videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta ads, website sections, and performance campaigns.
● Work closely with the marketing, content, design, and product teams to develop fresh and engaging video ideas.
● Edit videos that are not just visually appealing, but also hook-driven, story-led, and conversion-focused.
● Adapt raw product shoots, influencer content, and internal footage into usable marketing assets.
Motion Graphics & Animation
● Add basic motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated text, callouts, icons, and product highlights to improve video impact.
● Create engaging product feature videos explaining USPs such as MagSnap, stainless steel, anti-tarnish finish, natural stones, spiritual engravings, and other product benefits.
● Use simple animation and visual effects to make product launches, offers, and campaign creatives more engaging.
Sound & Music Editing
● Sync voiceovers, music, sound effects, and product sounds properly with the video.
● Choose suitable background music that matches the mood of the content, whether premium, emotional, energetic, spiritual, or cinematic.
● Balance audio levels for voiceovers, dialogues, sound effects, and background music.
● Add sound design wherever needed to make product videos feel more premium and engaging.
Creative Storytelling
● Transform raw footage into engaging narratives that connect with the audience emotionally and visually.
● Understand the difference between organic content, UGC content, product-led content, and ad creatives.
● Stay updated with trending reel formats, editing styles, hooks, transitions, and ad formats.
● Bring fresh ideas to the table for product launches, campaign videos, and social media content.
● Help the brand create content that feels premium, relatable, and performance-driven.
Requirements & Qualifications
● 1-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in D2C, fashion, jewellery, lifestyle, e-commerce, or social media content.
● Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing tools.
● Basic knowledge of motion graphics, typography animation, and product callout animation.
● Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta ads, and social media video formats.
● Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, transitions, music, and visual flow.
● Understanding of color grading, sound editing, video compression, and export settings.
● Ability to work with tight deadlines while maintaining video quality.
● Attention to detail, especially while working with jewellery, product close-ups, skin tones, lighting, and premium visual aesthetics.
● Ability to take feedback positively and revise edits based on brand and campaign requirements.
Bonus Skills
● Experience in jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, grooming, or product-based video editing.
● Experience editing UGC-style ads, influencer videos, unboxing videos, product feature videos, and launch campaigns.
● Basic photography or videography skills.
● Familiarity with AI-based editing tools and workflow-enhancing platforms.
● Knowledge of 3D product animation or product visualization will be a plus.
● Understanding of performance ads and what kind of edits work for conversion-focused campaigns.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
