Job Summary
The X-Ray Teacher shall be responsible for conducting training sessions for X-Ray technicians, students, and supporting staff regarding radiographic procedures, radiation safety, patient handling, equipment usage, and departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions for X-Ray technicians and trainees.
- Teach proper patient positioning and radiographic techniques.
- Train staff regarding radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Demonstrate proper handling and maintenance of X-Ray equipment.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and radiology department SOPs.
- Guide trainees in film/digital image quality assessment.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports.
- Coordinate with Radiologists and other departments for smooth training activities.
- Assist in departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting practices are followed.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Certification in Radiography/X-Ray Technology preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Radiology/X-Ray Department.
- Prior teaching or training experience shall be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation protection.
- Ability to handle trainees and coordinate practical sessions.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
