Position: General Manager – Stores
Industry: Steel Plant
Location: Tilda Raipur
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the overall Stores & Inventory Management functions of the steel plant.
Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of raw materials, spares, consumables, and finished goods.
Implement robust inventory control systems to minimize wastage and ensure uninterrupted production.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, and Accounts for seamless material flow.
Ensure compliance with safety, audit, and statutory requirements.
Drive digitalization and automation in store operations (SAP / ERP).
Develop and mentor the stores team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Experience & Skills:
15+ years of experience in Stores/Materials management in large integrated steel plants.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, ERP systems, and logistics coordination.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
