Job Summary
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and techno-commercial proposals for LT/HT electrical panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, and control panels. The candidate will review customer requirements, prepare BOQs, calculate material quantities, and coordinate with vendors for quotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Study customer inquiries, technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical panel projects.
- Calculate BOM (Bill of Materials) and BOQ requirements.
- Estimate costs of switchgear, busbars, enclosures, wiring, and panel accessories.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and OEMs.
- Prepare techno-commercial offers and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with design, purchase, and production teams for technical clarifications.
- Analyze project risks and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
- Maintain estimation databases and costing records.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations and tenders.
Required Technical Knowledge
- LT Panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, DBs)
- VFD Panels and PLC Control Panels
- Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- AutoCAD Drawings
- Switchgear Selection and Sizing
- Busbar Sizing and Cable Selection
- BOM Preparation and Costing
- Knowledge of IEC/IS Standards
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in electrical panel manufacturing, estimation, tendering, or design will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
