Key Responsibilities
- Candidates with experience in the food industry (retail, wholesale, or production) are preferred.
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Manage sales performance, customer service, and branch profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team for timely product replenishment.
- Maintain product freshness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations and company quality standards.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective team management.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and festive offers.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and record maintenance.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.
- Schedule employee shifts and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and maintain workplace discipline.
- Maintain daily sales, stock, and wastage records.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate with the accounts team for reconciliation.
- Report branch performance and operational updates to the area manager and head office.
- Ensure consistent product quality, taste, presentation, and packaging standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging, labeling, storage, and display.
- Maintain branch cleanliness, hygiene, housekeeping, and food safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer loyalty.
- Uphold the company’s brand image, values, and reputation.
- Implement cost-control measures and minimize product wastage.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment, freezers, display counters, and branch assets.
- Support new employee onboarding and ongoing product knowledge training.
- Coordinate with HR regarding payroll, attendance, employee records, and compliance matters.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and hygiene protocols.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensure operational readiness during festive seasons and high-demand periods.
- Represent the branch during audits, inspections, management reviews, and official meetings.
