About the Role
Uday Waldorf Inspired School is looking for an experienced and passionate Cambridge Programme Coordinator to lead the successful implementation of the Cambridge IGCSE programme.
This role is ideal for an educational leader who believes that academic excellence and meaningful, experiential learning can coexist. The Coordinator will ensure that the Cambridge curriculum is implemented with integrity while remaining aligned with our Waldorf-inspired philosophy of holistic education.
The Cambridge Programme Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison with Cambridge International, support teachers in curriculum and assessment, oversee examinations, and ensure the highest standards of programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership
Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous development of the Cambridge IGCSE programme.
Serve as the official Cambridge Coordinator and primary point of contact with Cambridge International.
Ensure compliance with all Cambridge policies, procedures, and examination regulations.
Maintain programme documentation and accreditation requirements.
Curriculum & Academic Planning
Develop and oversee the two-year curriculum framework for Grades 9 and 10.
Support teachers in curriculum planning, lesson design, and interdisciplinary learning.
Ensure alignment between Cambridge learning objectives and the school's educational philosophy.
Review and continuously improve curriculum implementation.
Assessment & Examinations
Develop the annual assessment calendar.
Coordinate internal assessments, mock examinations, and Cambridge board examinations.
Manage candidate registrations and examination administration.
Analyse examination results and lead academic review processes.
Teacher Development
Mentor and support Cambridge teachers.
Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
Organise professional development programmes.
Facilitate moderation meetings and collaborative planning sessions.
Student & Parent Engagement
Guide students regarding subject choices and academic pathways.
Organise parent orientation sessions on the Cambridge curriculum and assessment.
Support students requiring academic intervention.
Academic Quality Assurance
Monitor teaching and learning standards.
Ensure consistency in assessment and reporting.
Maintain high standards of academic documentation and programme quality.
Qualifications
Master's Degree (preferred)
Teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
Previous experience in curriculum leadership or programme coordination
Cambridge teaching or coordination experience preferred
