Job Description – Production Supervisor ( Fabrication)
1. Position: Production Supervisor
2. Department: Fabrication
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day production activities in the fabrication area.
- Assign work to operators, welders, fitters, and machine technicians.
- Ensure production targets are met as per schedule.
- Monitor machine operations like lathe, milling, drilling, cutting, welding, grinding, etc.
- Ensure proper material availability for daily production.
- Check product quality and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Maintain safety, 5S, and housekeeping in the work area.
- Coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, and stores for smooth workflow.
- Prepare daily production reports and update management.
- Identify process issues and support improvement activities.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of machining and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Manpower handling and team coordination skills.
- Production planning and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of safety practices in machine shop.
Qualification & Experience:
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. Mechanical or related field.
- 2–5 years experience in fabrication field.
Working Hours: As per company norms
Reporting To: Production Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
