Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist to join our AI/ML team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality labeled datasets by annotating images, videos, and other visual data to support machine learning and computer vision models. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow annotation guidelines, and a strong commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate and label image and video datasets using annotation tools according to project guidelines.
- Perform object detection, classification, segmentation, polygon, keypoint, and bounding box annotations.
- Conduct frame-by-frame video annotation for tracking objects, activities, and events.
- Review and validate annotations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and annotation guidelines to maintain high-quality datasets.
- Identify annotation errors and provide feedback for continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with QA teams, project managers, and AI/ML engineers to resolve annotation-related issues.
- Maintain productivity and quality targets while meeting project deadlines.
- Handle sensitive and confidential data responsibly.
Required Skills
- 2–8 years of experience in image and/or video annotation.
- Familiarity with annotation techniques such as bounding boxes, polygons, semantic segmentation, keypoint, and object tracking.
- Experience with annotation tools such as CVAT, Labelbox, Label Studio, Supervisely, V7, Scale AI, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new annotation tools quickly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on Computer Vision or AI/ML data annotation projects.
- Exposure to autonomous driving, retail analytics, surveillance, healthcare imaging, robotics, or similar domains.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes for annotations.
- Experience with multi-object tracking, activity recognition, or video event labeling is an advantage.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
