Job Description – Architectural DrafterPosition Summary
The Architectural Drafter is responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings and construction documents based on design concepts, sketches, and project requirements. The role involves producing high-quality drafting work, coordinating with architects and consultants, and ensuring drawings comply with applicable building codes and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
- Develop complete construction document sets for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare interior drawing sets, including furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, and interior elevations.
- Revise drawings based on client, architect, and authority review comments.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across all project drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to resolve design conflicts.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and company drafting standards.
- Organize project files and maintain proper drawing documentation and version control.
- Perform quality checks before submitting drawings.
- Complete assigned tasks within established project timelines and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and team members regarding project progress.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
- Knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial building design.
- Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma in Architecture, or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting.
- Experience preparing architectural and interior construction drawings.
- Experience coordinating drawing revisions and responding to review comments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
