We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our Indirect Taxation team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in GST compliance, return filing, tax reconciliations, audits, and handling departmental notices. The role requires sound knowledge of indirect tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal departments and external authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST laws and other applicable indirect tax regulations.
- Reconcile GST data with books of accounts, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B, and e-way bills.
- Manage Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and ensure proper utilization.
- Handle GST registrations, amendments, and cancellations as required.
- Prepare responses to GST notices, assessments, audits, and departmental queries.
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities on indirect tax matters.
- Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and assess their impact on business operations.
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Review vendor and customer GST compliance to minimize tax risks.
- Assist in tax planning initiatives and process improvements to ensure efficient compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and tax records for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Coordinate with finance, accounts, procurement, logistics, and business teams for tax-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) will be preferred.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in indirect taxation, preferably in a manufacturing, trading, or logistics environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and procedures.
- Experience in GST return filing, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Working knowledge of E-way Bill and E-Invoicing provisions.
- Familiarity with departmental assessments, audits, and litigation support.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Tally.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
