Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our jewellery showroom. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, inventory accounting, GST compliance, billing verification, and preparing financial reports using Tally software.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime/ERP.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries accurately.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
- Maintain cash book, bank book, and other financial records.
Jewellery Inventory Accounting
- Manage accounting related to gold, silver, diamond, and other jewellery inventory.
- Reconcile stock records with sales and purchase entries.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with showroom management for stock verification.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and inventory valuation.
Billing & Documentation
- Verify sales invoices, purchase bills, and customer transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial and inventory records.
- Ensure accurate billing and recording of customer orders and advance payments.
GST & Compliance
- Prepare GST reports and assist in GST return filing.
- Perform GST reconciliation and ensure statutory compliance.
- Maintain records for audits and taxation requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Generate profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
- Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a jewellery showroom or retail industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP.
- Good understanding of GST, taxation, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a jewellery showroom, gold trading, or retail accounting.
- Knowledge of jewellery stock management and valuation processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
