Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Network Migration Engineer to support the migration of approximately 1,000 network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. The engineer will plan, implement, validate, and troubleshoot network migrations while maintaining service availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute network migration activities.
- Configure and migrate routers, switches, firewalls, and related network infrastructure.
- Perform configuration backups and restore procedures.
- Validate routing, switching, security, and connectivity after migration.
- Troubleshoot network issues during migration windows.
- Coordinate with server, application, telecom, and security teams.
- Prepare implementation plans, rollback procedures, and migration documentation.
- Monitor migration progress and provide regular status updates.
- Participate in after-hours migration activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP, ACLs, and QoS.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking platforms.
- Experience with firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA/Firepower.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4–8 years of enterprise networking experience.
- CCNA required; CCNP or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Large-scale data center or campus migration projects.
- SD-WAN and network automation experience.
- ITIL knowledge.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
