Position: Senior Interior Designer

Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of all interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Develop innovative design concepts, space planning, and functional layouts aligned with organizational objectives.
- Prepare and review concept presentations, 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, detailed working drawings, and construction documentation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery within approved budgets.
- Supervise and mentor junior designers, draftsmen, and design coordinators to ensure high-quality design output.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve material selections, furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and décor to maintain design consistency and quality.
- Prepare and verify BOQs, cost estimates, material specifications, and tender documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to approved designs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and resource utilization.
- Evaluate contractor performance and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Identify project risks, recommend solutions, and proactively resolve design and execution challenges.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and vendor submissions before implementation.
- Coordinate procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures, equipment, artwork, and accessories.
- Maintain complete project documentation, including drawings, revisions, approvals, reports, and handover documents.
- Attend client and management meetings, present design proposals, and provide regular project status updates.
- Drive innovation by recommending sustainable, cost-effective, and functional design solutions.
- Ensure successful project handover and oversee post-completion snag rectification and defect resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Support management in planning future projects, budgeting, and strategic design initiatives.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management in the interest of the organization.
