Job Title: Solar Sales Manager
Role:
The Solar Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, leading the sales team, supporting lead generation, and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
- Generate leads through field visits, client meetings, references, and networking.
- Provide customer data/leads to the sales team and monitor follow-ups.
- Guide the team in lead conversion and daily sales activities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Meet customers, understand requirements, and propose suitable solar solutions.
- Coordinate with technical/design teams for site surveys and quotations.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Build strong client relationships and support business growth.
- Prepare sales reports and update management regularly.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline (Marketing/Engineering preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in sales, preferably in solar/EPC/electrical industry.
- Good communication, team handling, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems preferred.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and field work.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.
