We are seeking a skilled and motivating Fitness Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions, guiding clients toward their fitness goals, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group fitness training sessions for clients
- Create personalized workout plans based on client goals, fitness levels, and health considerations
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure client safety
- Track client progress and adjust training programs as needed
- Provide guidance on general nutrition and healthy habits (within scope of practice)
- Foster a motivating, respectful, and empowering workout environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of training areas
- Participate in workshops, events, and promotional activities as required
- Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and training methods
Qualifications
- Certified Fitness Trainer (ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NASM, or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as a fitness trainer or instructor
- Strong understanding of strength training, cardio, flexibility, and functional movement
- CPR/AED certification (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire, encourage, and connect with clients
- Professional, energetic, and client-focused attitude
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in women-only gyms or wellness programs
- Knowledge of pre/postnatal fitness
- Ability to conduct group classes (e.g., Zumba, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates)
- Basic nutrition knowledge
