Position: Garment Production Supervisor
Location: Surat, Gujarat

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Garment Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities in our garment manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily garment production activities and ensure smooth workflow across production lines.
- Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and resources to achieve production targets.
- Monitor line productivity and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Ensure garments are produced according to approved specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the Merchandising, Cutting, Sampling, Quality, and Finishing departments for seamless production.
- Identify production issues and resolve them to minimize downtime.
- Monitor fabric utilization and reduce production wastage.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
- Train, guide, and motivate operators and production staff to improve performance.
- Maintain production records, daily reports, and line efficiency data.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards (5S).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in garment production, preferably in Women's Ethnic & Western wear manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing operations, and production planning.
- Knowledge of line balancing, production planning, and efficiency improvement.
- Ability to lead production teams and solve shop-floor issues effectively.
- Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office for reporting and production tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling mass production for women's western wear garments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and production optimization techniques will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with ERP or production management software is preferred.
- Local candidates from Surat will be given preference.
