Role: Business Consultant
The Business Consultant will work closely with business owners, leadership teams, and key stakeholders to implement growth strategies, improve business performance, and drive measurable outcomes.
This is a client-facing consulting role combining business advisory, client management, business development, and thought leadership responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consulting & Implementation
- Work closely with business owners and leadership teams to implement business growth initiatives.
- Support clients in areas such as strategy, sales growth, profitability improvement, team performance, systems development, and business scaling.
- Drive execution and accountability to ensure measurable business outcomes.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Client Relationship Management
- Take complete ownership of client satisfaction and retention.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with business owners and senior leadership teams.
- Ensure clients achieve agreed business objectives and milestones.
Business Development
- Contribute towards achieving revenue targets for Beyond Red Ocean Consulting.
- Participate in sales meetings, discovery sessions, and proposal discussions.
- Support the conversion of prospective clients into long-term consulting engagements.
Thought Leadership & Brand Building
- Conduct seminars, workshops, webinars, and educational sessions for entrepreneurs.
- Represent Beyond Red Ocean Consulting at networking events, business forums, and industry platforms.
- Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, strategic partnerships, and industry association memberships.
Desired Candidate ProfileExperience
- 10–12 years of professional experience in consulting, business advisory, leadership, strategy, operations, sales, or business management roles.
- Successful professionals in senior leadership positions who wish to transition into consulting are encouraged to apply.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-oriented mindset.
- Revenue-driven and comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to engage with business owners, CXOs, and leadership teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable conducting presentations, workshops, and seminars.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel within Kolkata and to other cities for client meetings, workshops, and events.
- Knowledge of CRM software and business productivity tools will be an advantage.
