We are looking for a highly creative Video Editor who specializes in short-form (Reels, Shorts, Ads) and long-form (YouTube) content for topics related to SEO, AI, Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Growth Strategies.
Your role will be to turn scripts into engaging, high-retention videos using motion graphics, dynamic text overlays, AI-generated visuals, stock footage, and screen recordings. The content will be used for social media, YouTube, and ads to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Short-Form Video Editing (Reels, Shorts, Ads)
- Create attention-grabbing, high-retention short-form videos (60-90 seconds) for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
- Implement fast-paced cuts, motion graphics, bold text overlays, and engaging B-roll footage to hook viewers in the first 3 seconds.
- Use AI-generated visuals (like OpenAI's Sora, RunwayML, etc.), memes, and stock footage where necessary.
- Enhance storytelling with sound effects, background music, and cinematic transitions.
Long-Form Video Editing (YouTube & Guides)
- Edit 5-10 min YouTube videos with a mix of screen recordings, infographics, stock footage, and engaging transitions.
- Structure content for high retention by using jump cuts, smooth transitions, and interactive graphics.
- Add animated captions, info overlays, and CTA pop-ups to keep viewers engaged.
- Optimize video format for YouTube SEO, ensuring proper pacing, thumbnails, and title integration.
Screen Recordings & AI Visual Integrations
- Record & integrate screen walkthroughs for SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and AI-based marketing tools.
- Use AI-generated visuals (Sora, Midjourney, DALL·E) for storytelling enhancements.
Brand Consistency & Engagement Optimization
- Follow a consistent editing style aligned with the brand’s theme.
- Ensure that text animations, color grading, and branding elements maintain consistency across all videos.
- Experiment with viral editing techniques (TikTok-style zooms, cuts, meme integrations) to improve engagement.
Collaboration & Creative Input
- Work closely with the content writing & strategy team to brainstorm creative approaches.
- Analyze engagement data from past videos to refine future editing techniques for better retention & conversions.
Who Should Apply?
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro.
- Experience with motion graphics & animations (After Effects, Canva, RunwayML).
- Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Ability to create fast-paced, engaging edits suited for social media.
- Familiarity with AI tools & automation in video editing (Descript, Sora, Runway, etc.).
Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory, But Preferred):
- Experience editing marketing-focused content (SEO, AI, Digital Marketing, Performance Ads).
- Basic knowledge of YouTube SEO & video optimization strategies.
- Ability to generate AI visuals and integrate them into videos.
- Familiarity with color grading, sound design & special effects.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
