Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to prepare accurate engineering drawings, 2D layouts, and detailed manufacturing drawings based on design requirements. The candidate will work closely with Design, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure drawings meet technical and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create and modify drawings based on design specifications and engineering requirements.
- Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, sectional views, and layouts.
- Incorporate GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and material specifications.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with engineering standards.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, and other departments for drawing clarifications.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
- Support preparation and updating of BOMs and technical documentation.
- Review drawings for manufacturability and identify discrepancies before release.
Required Skills
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks/Creo or similar CAD software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, fits, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
