Job Description – Retail Coordinator (Tiles & Ceramics)

Role Overview:
The Retail Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the showroom, coordinating with customers, sales teams, warehouse, vendors, and management. The role focuses on customer experience, order execution, inventory coordination, sales support, and maintaining showroom standards to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily showroom operations and ensure seamless customer service.
- Assist walk-in customers by understanding their requirements and coordinating with the sales team for product selection.
- Maintain and update customer inquiry, quotation, and order records.
- Coordinate order processing, delivery schedules, and installation requirements with relevant teams.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, order confirmations, payments, and deliveries.
- Ensure proper display, labeling, and presentation of tiles, sanitaryware, and ceramic products in the showroom.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock availability and replenishment of display materials.
- Track inventory movement and report stock shortages, slow-moving items, and fast-moving products.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational MIS reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for sample management, product updates, and procurement requirements.
- Maintain customer databases and ensure accurate documentation of sales transactions.
- Support promotional activities, exhibitions, and showroom marketing initiatives.
- Handle customer complaints and service issues by coordinating with relevant departments for timely resolution.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
- Act as the showroom's single point of coordination with the centralized Finance & Accounts team for billing, payment follow-ups, credit management, collections, customer account reconciliation, and related operational support.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware, building materials, or home décor.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and retail MIS reporting.
- Experience in customer coordination and order management.
