- Plan, organize, and manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for CNC machines.
- Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum downtime in mass production operations.
- Lead troubleshooting of CNC machines, PLC systems, servo drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Monitor machine performance and implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reliability.
- Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and maintenance budgets.
- Coordinate with production and quality departments to achieve production targets.
- Handle installation, commissioning, and relocation of CNC machines and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, TPM, and 5S practices.
- Analyze breakdown data and implement root cause corrective actions.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Supervise and train maintenance engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Coordinate with machine suppliers and external service providers for AMC and technical support.
- Ensure utility maintenance including compressors, chillers, transformers, DG sets, and coolant systems.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, or similar CNC controllers.
- Knowledge of PLCs, servo systems, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Understanding of TPM, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering.
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety and maintenance management systems.
