Job Title: Interior Project Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Interiors)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Interior Project Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material quantities, and project budgets for residential, commercial, hospitality, and corporate interior projects. The candidate will work closely with the design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure cost-effective project planning and timely tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
* Study architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for turnkey interior projects.
* Perform quantity take-offs for civil, carpentry, modular furniture, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, false ceiling, flooring, wallpaper, curtains, and other finishing works.
* Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and rate analysis.
* Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors and compare commercial offers.
* Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams for material costing.
* Prepare tender documents, budgets, and project cost summaries.
* Track project variations, additional works, and revised estimates.
* Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
* Maintain updated material rates, labour rates, and vendor databases.
* Support billing, cost control, and profitability analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and execution methods.
* Excellent understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
* Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
* Knowledge of rate analysis and cost planning.
* Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
* Attention to detail and excellent numerical ability.
* Good communication and coordination skills.

* SketchUp (preferred)
* ERP/Project Management Software (preferred)
* Bluebeam/PlanSwift or similar quantity take-off software (preferred)
Qualifications
* Diploma/B.E. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Quantity Surveying.
* 1-5 years of experience in interior estimation and costing.
* Experience in turnkey residential, commercial, hospitality, or corporate interior projects is preferred.
