Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist with in-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation. This position plays a key role in maintaining and continuously improving our quality management systems in compliance with automotive industry requirements.
As a QMS Specialist, you will be responsible for managing core quality processes, preparing PPAP documentation, supporting internal/external audits, and ensuring effective implementation of IATF requirements across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949.
- Lead and prepare full PPAP submissions (Levels 1–5) including FMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and MSA studies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for APQP activities and quality planning.
- Conduct internal audits and manage nonconformity/corrective actions (8D, RCA, CAPA).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer audits and third-party IATF audits.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with core tools: FMEA, MSA, SPC, and APQP.
- Maintain quality documentation, manuals, procedures, and records as per IATF standards.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on QMS and quality core tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with IATF 16949 QMS in the automotive industry.
- Strong expertise in PPAP documentation and related core tools.
- Auditor certification (internal/external) for IATF 16949 is preferred.
- Solid understanding of APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QMS software/tools.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems (SAP, Plex, etc.).
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 or other related standards.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
