- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to approved procedures.
- Verify and approve incoming materials as per specifications.
- Coordinate with laboratories for testing of materials such as concrete, steel, soil, etc.
- Ensure all test reports are properly documented and approved.
- Reject non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections (pre, during, and post-execution).
- Prepare and maintain:
- Inspection reports
- Test reports
- Checklists
- Method statements
- Ensure all records are updated and readily available for audits.
- Identify quality issues and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure closure of NCRs within the stipulated time.
- Coordinate with:
- Project Managers
- Site Engineers
- Consultants
- Clients
- Attend quality meetings and provide updates on quality status.
- Support third-party inspections and client audits.
- Ensure compliance with:
- IS Codes (Indian Standards)
- Project specifications
- Client requirements
- Safety and environmental standards
- Maintain quality as per ISO standards (preferably ISO 9001).
- Ensure all measuring and testing equipment are calibrated.
- Maintain calibration records and validity.
- Conduct quality awareness sessions for site staff.
- Guide site engineers and supervisors on quality procedures and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Certification in Quality Management (preferred).
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality control.
- Experience in building projects / infrastructure / government projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹42,847.67 per month
