Exude is a contemporary women's fashion brand focused on creating stylish, trend-driven western wear. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance CAD Designer specializing in print development to support our design team.
Role Overview
The Freelance CAD Designer will be responsible for creating original print designs and translating creative concepts into production-ready CAD artworks for garments and textiles. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion trends, color stories, and print placement techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original all-over prints, placement prints, and graphic artworks for women's western wear.
- Develop repeat patterns, motifs, and color variations based on seasonal themes and briefs.
- Prepare production-ready CAD files with accurate sizing, repeats, and color separations.
- Work closely with the design and merchandising teams to ensure prints align with the brand aesthetic.
- Research global fashion trends, colors, and print directions.
- Modify and adapt artworks according to sampling and production requirements.
- Maintain an organized library of prints and artwork files.
- Ensure timely delivery of designs as per agreed deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or Textile Print Designer in the fashion industry.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge of repeat pattern development and print placement techniques.
- Understanding of fabric printing processes and garment construction.
- Ability to interpret design briefs and create commercially viable prints.
- Strong sense of color, composition, and fashion trends.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in women's western wear and contemporary fashion.
- Portfolio showcasing floral, geometric, abstract, conversational, and placement prints.
- Experience working with manufacturers and print vendors is an advantage.

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and can be structured on a per-design, per-project, or monthly retainer basis.
Pay: ₹8,296.99 - ₹33,396.90 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gurgaon Palampur Road, Haryana
