Job Purpose
The Hospital Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting the hospital's healthcare services, strengthening relationships with doctors and referral partners, developing corporate and institutional tie-ups, increasing patient referrals, organizing health awareness activities, and enhancing the hospital's brand image while maintaining ethical healthcare marketing practices.
Key Responsibilities1. Doctor & Referral Marketing
- Visit referring doctors, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare providers to promote the hospital's specialties and services.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with referral doctors.
- Regularly update doctors about new consultants, services, technologies, and health packages.
- Maintain a database of referral doctors and track referral trends.
2. Corporate & Institutional Marketing
- Identify and develop corporate, industrial, educational institution, and government tie-ups.
- Promote corporate health check-up packages and employee wellness programs.
- Coordinate annual health screening programs for organizations.
- Maintain relationships with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients.
3. Business Development
- Identify new opportunities to increase patient footfall and revenue.
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis.
- Support the introduction of new healthcare services and specialty programs.
- Recommend strategies to improve market presence.
4. Branding & Promotional Activities
- Coordinate hospital health camps, awareness programs, medical conferences, and community outreach activities.
- Assist in planning promotional campaigns through print, digital, and social media.
- Ensure availability of brochures, standees, banners, and other marketing materials.
- Promote the hospital's brand through ethical marketing initiatives.
5. Patient Relationship & Service Support
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.
- Address queries from corporate clients and referral partners.
- Collect patient and doctor feedback and share improvement suggestions with management.
- Support patient engagement and satisfaction initiatives.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare Daily Call Reports (DCR) and Monthly Activity Reports.
- Maintain records of doctor visits, corporate visits, referrals, and marketing activities.
- Submit periodic performance reports to the Reporting Manager.
- Maintain accurate marketing databases.
7. Compliance
- Follow NABH standards, hospital policies, and ethical healthcare marketing practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Hospital Administration is preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital or healthcare marketing.
- Experience in doctor relationship management and corporate marketing is preferred.
