What would you do? Controllership refers to the management and oversight of an organizations financial reporting and accounting functions. This includes ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, budgeting, and financial analysis. The goal is to provide reliable financial information to support decision-making and maintain financial integrity.Applying the tax rules to our income to produce tax strategies and/or file tax returns. The role is responsible for overseeing revenue assurance, location-level profit and loss (P&L) management, and intercompany settlements and analysis. This position encompasses preparation and timely submission of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis.
What are we looking for? The specialist will coordinate with tax, treasury, and various business teams, facilitate management information system (MIS) reporting, and monitor regular accounting processes to ensure financial integrity and process compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain accurate data for revenue reporting and financial analysis activities. • Record financial transactions and journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and local accounting standards. • Analyze and interpret intercompany revenue and cost allocations; ensure all related transactions align with revenue assurance and transfer pricing policies. • Post revenue adjustment journal entries to support compliant margin achievement per transfer pricing guidelines. • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, settlements, and accounts. • Maintain proper supporting documentation and ensure compliance with intercompany service agreements. • Identify, investigate, and resolve intercompany balance discrepancies in a timely manner. • Support local statutory accounting compliance including profit center / segment P&L, transfer pricing documentation, and regulatory filings. • Manage compliance activities related to foreign exchange regulations and software exports, such as reporting, clearance processes, and monitoring. • Perform analytical reviews to validate correctness and accuracy of revenue and cost recognition. • Implement robust controls and checks to maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy. • Adhere to strict reporting timelines for all periodic financial deliverables
