Job Summary:
The Post Press Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising all post-press operations such as cutting, lamination, folding, binding, packing, and finishing processes. The role ensures that production targets are achieved with proper quality standards, safety practices, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily post-press production activities including cutting, creasing, folding, lamination, die-cutting, and packing.
- Ensure quality control of finished printed materials before dispatch.
- Plan and allocate work to operators and helpers to meet production deadlines.
- Monitor machine performance and maintenance of post-press equipment.
- Ensure proper material handling and wastage control.
- Maintain production records, reports, and shift updates.
- Coordinate with printing, pre-press, and dispatch departments for smooth workflow.
- Ensure safety standards and housekeeping in the production area.
- Train and guide operators to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure timely completion of orders as per customer specifications.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of printing and packaging finishing processes.
- Ability to handle die cutting, lamination, punching, folding, and binding machines.
- Strong team management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of production planning and quality control.
Experience:
- 3–7 years experience in printing or packaging industry (post-press operations).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
