Job Summary:
The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and reception area within the hospital. This role ensures smooth patient flow, excellent customer service, and effective communication between patients, staff, and visitors. The Front Office Manager supervises front office staff, manages appointments, handles patient inquiries, and ensures adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train front office staff.
- Oversee appointment scheduling and patient check-ins/outs.
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Maintain patient records and assist with billing/insurance inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality standards.
- Manage front office operations to ensure efficiency and smooth patient flow.
- Coordinate with medical staff for appointment and procedure scheduling.
- Monitor inventory and ensure availability of office supplies.
- Assist in implementing process improvements for front office operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of front office or administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
