IT Lead – Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage servers, desktops, laptops, storage, printers, biometric devices, and network infrastructure.
Administer virtualization platforms (Proxmox), virtual machines, backups, snapshots, migrations, and performance monitoring.
Manage Sophos Firewall, VPN, web filtering, intrusion prevention, endpoint security, and security policies.
Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, access points, and inter-branch connectivity.
Provide IT support for 300+ users across multiple locations through centralized ticketing and SLA management.
Manage IT assets, inventory, warranty tracking, procurement, allocation, and lifecycle management.
Administer Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, Active Directory, email systems, user accounts, and role-based access controls.
Ensure timely onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and security compliance.
Manage backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and periodic restore testing.
Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, antivirus management, and cybersecurity incident response.
Maintain infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, licenses, domains, SSL certificates, and AMC records.
Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, OEMs, and service providers for support and infrastructure upgrades.
Conduct IT audits, security reviews, asset audits, and user access reviews.
Lead IT support teams and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.
Prepare IT budgets, capacity planning, technology upgrades, and monthly management reports.
Support cloud services, hybrid infrastructure environments, and future technology initiatives.
