As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. Daily activities also involve utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with various teams to monitor and optimize application functionality is an integral part of the work routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system updates.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with data integration and synchronization techniques within Master Data Management environments.
- Familiarity with APIs and their use in extending packaged or software as a service applications.
- Knowledge of low-code platforms to customize and automate application workflows.
- Ability to analyze system performance and implement improvements to ensure stability and scalability.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex application issues and deliver effective solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
