The Senior Finance Specialist is an integral part of the client-dedicated finance team, supporting the management of all areas of the finance function of the Account, including month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to the Client, Account Management team and JLL Corporate Finance Team while serving as a key partner to the Finance Manager. The position offers high client visibility and meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders across both client and JLL operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive financial control processes and ensure robust compliance monitoring with relevant policies and procedures across all client account operations
- Execute comprehensive month-end closing processes including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Generate timely and accurate client invoices, maintain detailed accounts receivable records, and conduct aging analysis to optimize collection processes and cash flow management.
- Provide high-quality financial reporting to JLL Account Teams and clients, including glide path performance analysis and budget variance reporting
- Optimize financial reporting presentations and insights, coordinating consolidated teamwork and enhancing communication effectiveness with client stakeholders
- Support commercial management and analysis through advanced planning, forecasting, and systematic savings tracking to drive account performance optimization
- Lead client-facing activities including active participation in financial discussions, budget development support, and comprehensive resolution of client finance queries
- Analyze commercial and contractual aspects of client accounts, managing savings initiative tracking, reconciliations, baseline control, and business case reviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client-side finance teams through regular reporting, proactive communication, and strategic financial insights
- Analyze process and performance trends to identify operational issues and propose corrective solutions that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction
- Supervise and develop direct reports, fostering professional growth while maintaining high-performance standards across the finance function
- Assist broader client teams in developing and enhancing service delivery platforms, contributing strategic financial expertise to overall account success
- Support Finance Manager across all areas of complex finance operations, ensuring seamless delivery of JLL and client financial requirements
- Deputize for Finance Manager when needed, maintaining continuity of all finance operations and client relationship management responsibilities.
Job Prerequisites
Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics, MBA or related professional certifications in finance discipline or equivalent.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a similar position, working with international teams & clients.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations), with a strong knowledge of internal controls
Communication & Leadership: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams
Client-Focused Collaboration: Strong commitment to client service excellence with experience working in diverse, fast-paced professional environments and managing multiple stakeholder relationships
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with E1 and Corrigo systems or similar enterprise resource planning platforms, Background in real estate services, facilities management, or professional services industries, Track record of process improvement and system implementation initiatives.
