About Us
Vedansh Impex Pvt. Ltd. (VIPL) is a Mumbai-based import–export and e-commerce consultancy founded in 2019. We are the trusted gateway for international brands and overseas sellers entering the Indian market — managing regulatory compliance, customs clearance, Importer on Record (IOR) services, and Amazon India onboarding. With 350+ sellers onboarded and a zero-compliance-failure track record, we run tight, accurate, and audit-ready operations for every client we serve.
Role Overview
We are looking for a diligent Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting, tax, and compliance work. You will handle book-keeping, GST filings and reconciliation, invoicing, and import-cost accounting — keeping our records accurate, timely, and ready for month-end close and audit. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is precise with numbers, comfortable with Tally, and keen to grow into a broader finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
- Support GST compliance — preparation of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, HSN summaries, and GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation with purchase records.
- Assist with e-invoicing and ensure invoices are generated, validated, and recorded correctly.
- Process vendor bills, accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations, and flag discrepancies for resolution.
- Support TDS working, deductions, and related documentation.
- Assist with settlement and payment working, ensuring amounts are computed and mapped accurately per client SOPs.
- Maintain organised, audit-ready financial records, files, and trackers.
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities and coordinate with the finance lead, auditors, and consultants as needed.
Requirements
- B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong fundamentals are welcome).
- Working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, GST, and TDS concepts.
- High attention to detail and accuracy — you take ownership of getting the numbers right.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet filing and closing deadlines.
Good to Have
- Exposure to GST return filing and 2A/2B reconciliation.
- Familiarity with import–export or e-commerce accounting.
- CA Inter / CMA (pursuing or completed) is a plus.
- Experience with e-invoicing systems.
What We Offer
- Broad exposure to accounting, tax, and compliance in an international-trade business.
- Hands-on experience with GST, import-cost accounting, and end-to-end financial operations.
- Mentorship and a clear path to grow into senior accounting and finance roles.
- A detail-driven, collaborative team that values accuracy and long-term thinking.
