Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, responsible, and people-oriented HR cum Counsellor to manage basic HR activities while also handling student counselling and admission-related responsibilities for our online coaching division.
The candidate will be responsible for employee coordination, attendance and HR support, along with counselling prospective students/parents, understanding their requirements, explaining courses, following up with leads, and supporting the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities
HR Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR activities for the coaching team.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave, joining, and basic HR records.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Support recruitment, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination.
- Monitor employee discipline, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
- Address basic employee queries and coordinate with management for resolution.
- Maintain HR reports, trackers, and employee documentation.
- Coordinate with different departments for smooth HR operations.
- Assist in performance tracking and employee engagement activities.
Counselling & Admission Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding available online courses and programs.
- Understand students' academic requirements, goals, and concerns.
- Explain course structure, faculty, duration, fees, benefits, and other relevant details.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls and messages.
- Convert interested leads into admissions through effective counselling.
- Maintain regular follow-up with leads and update the counselling tracker/CRM.
- Handle student/parent queries professionally and provide appropriate information.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams regarding student requirements.
- Maintain admission-related records and daily counselling reports.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
Coordination & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly HR and counselling reports.
- Track lead status, follow-ups, conversions, and pending admissions.
- Coordinate with management regarding important employee or student concerns.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned HR and counselling activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and student information.
Required Skills

- Basic understanding of HR processes and employee management.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic office tools.

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in HR, Psychology, Education, or related field will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, student counselling, tele-counselling, admissions, EdTech, coaching, education, or a related field.
- Candidates with experience in both HR and counselling/admission will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be confident, presentable, empathetic, target-oriented, and comfortable speaking with both employees and students/parents. The candidate must be able to balance administrative HR responsibilities with active counselling and admission activities.
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
