We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through video, has a strong eye for visual content, and is eager to gain hands-on experience editing content for social media, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into engaging, high-quality content.
- Create short-form videos for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Add transitions, graphics, captions, sound effects, and music where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop compelling visual stories.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Organize and manage video assets efficiently.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on video editing trends, social media content formats, and best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Media, Film, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and social media content requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and creative mindset.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Portfolio, showreel, or sample editing work is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating social media content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflows.
